I want to start off this video explaining a little bit about how you’re going to navigate the site. You are currently in the getting started screen. All right? And so, what I’m going to do right now is I’m going to share my screen and walk you through where you’re going to find everything. All right?
Now, what I want you to notice is that whenever you’re using the website, you will find the Feel Good Sisterhood underneath the menu system. If you go to programs and then under the Feel Good Sisterhood, going to getting started, you’ll come back to this page.
Now, all of the modules, all of the months are listed under that. And then, each month is broken out by week. Now, under getting started, you’ll also see program resources. And under program resources, you’ll see all of the worksheets that are available for the program.
But if you want to jump to a specific month or a specific lesson, you can easily do that by going into the program outline. And so, in the program outline, what you can do is find the week that you’re looking for, and then click the show more link in order to expand that week’s lesson or show less to collapse it again. All right?
So, all of your month’s information is going to be here and it’s here available to you from the start. It’s available to you, but that does not mean that you have to go through all of the information. I really want you to practice constraint here. Because if we go through everything, we’re going to get overwhelmed.
And the first thing that will happen when we feel overwhelmed is we’re going to shut down. When things come at us too much, we just have a tendency to just say, “well, I can’t do any of it.” And so, I really want you to focus on practicing constraint. And what that means is not worrying about the future and not feeling like you have to catch up, there’s no behind in this program.
So, if you miss a lesson, if you miss a couple of videos, that’s totally okay. Just pick up where you are and move forward. The other thing I want to mention, let’s go back into the getting started screen. And there are tons of different bonuses here and just tons of different resources.
Now, every single one of your lessons is going to have a video and then also an audio of the videos. So, if you don’t want to watch it, you don’t have to. And then, if you want to read the transcript, the transcript is going to be available to you as well. Now, under getting started, you have a couple of different resources. And what I’m going to suggest is that you just go through each one.
Now, here’s the thing, I have provided a ton of resources for you. I’ve given you absolutely everything that you need in this program. However, be aware that you might not be ready for everything as I present it. And so, what I want you to do is I just want you to take in the bare minimum. Do what you can. The information is going to be here for you when you need it.
And so, if you feel confused ever, or if you have any questions, I’m going to invite you to put it into the community and say, “Hey, Elizabeth,” or everyone else in the community. “I know that there is this resource, but I can’t find it. Can anyone help me with it?” Or ” Hey, I think that I’m having this problem, and so where can I find more information?” And then, we can provide you with that.
So, again, practicing constraint is going to be a huge lesson in this program. So, starting out, what I’d like you to do is I would like you to go through the resources. The “You Belong Here” resource because you do belong here. And I am so incredibly thrilled that you are in the program.
But then also, start thinking about how you want to measure success. Is it the scale? Cause it doesn’t have to be. Or is it going to be a pair of pants, or an item of clothing, or are you going to use a tape measure to measure your success? So, think about what are some of the things that you can start measuring success.
Now, the first month we’re actually going to get into awareness. So, one of the things that you could use as a measure of success is right now, when we’re starting to become aware of what our habits are. You could start tracking like, how often I’m overeating? And then, as you see that decrease, that could be one of your measures of success. It doesn’t have to be something that is so concrete as a scale weight. The scale can be fickle because we can have water weight, or we can increase our muscle mass. And so, scale weight isn’t always a true measure of success.
Now, one exercise that I would like you to take care of is the wheel of life exercise. And in the wheel of life exercise, it’s just a simple quiz. What you’re going to do is you’re just going to measure your level of satisfaction. And each of these different nine categories and then fill in your email address and have that email to you. We’re also going to do that later on in the program, to see how you’re doing.

Make sure that you download the app on whatever device you’re going to be using that on whether it’s your desktop computer, or your phone, or your tablet, whatever, it doesn’t really make a difference. And you can use it on all three of those.
